I have since been working on several small projects for the people that signed up under my Pay It Forward campaign. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>The first gift for one of my four people arrived last Friday, and I am so excited to share it with you because I think it&#8217;s pretty cute:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.elisabethboothe.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/2013-04-29-22.06.04.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1489\" alt=\"SAMSUNG\" src=\"https:\/\/www.elisabethboothe.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/2013-04-29-22.06.04-300x225.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.elisabethboothe.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/2013-04-29-22.06.04-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.elisabethboothe.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/2013-04-29-22.06.04-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.elisabethboothe.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/2013-04-29-22.06.04.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>I made this for my favorite sister-in-law (does it matter that she&#8217;s my only sister or sister-in-law? I don&#8217;t think so!) She said her favorite color right now is purple, and at least for a while, she LOVED hippos, so I found some purple yarn and this <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/shasta-the-hippo\">Shasta The Hippo pattern<\/a> from Ravelry.com (I don&#8217;t like how the pink in the original project almost makes it look more like a pig than a hippo!) and got started.<\/p>\n<p>This hippo even comes complete with this darling little tail:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.elisabethboothe.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/2013-04-29-22.07.56.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1490\" alt=\"SAMSUNG\" src=\"https:\/\/www.elisabethboothe.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/2013-04-29-22.07.56-300x225.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.elisabethboothe.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/2013-04-29-22.07.56-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.elisabethboothe.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/2013-04-29-22.07.56-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.elisabethboothe.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/2013-04-29-22.07.56.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And check out this happy smile!
